Born in 1951, the French designer started off as an assistant at Hermès, and then founded the house of Christian Lacroix in 1986. In 1988 he created his first line of accessories including sunglasses, jewellery, handbags, shoes and scarves characterized by his inspiration from diverse cultures. Christian Lacroix sunglasses are known for their ethnic and theatrical style and superbly luxurious designs.
